Hello,

I would like to migrate my actual website to the new DNN one... But before doing so, I would like to be sure that I will choose the correct module... I have a lot of data to migrate, and I do not want to make a mistake with the wrong module, and having to retype everything later with another module!!!...

Any advice is welcomed. One of the page is a listing of video effects: http://declic.video.free.fr/HFXShare/hfxshare.htm
You will see that there are ~100 video effects, small files with extension .hfz
I intend to use Repository, but I am not sure it will give 100% satisfaction, because it seems that I can not put some comments with links. Is there any other module which would fit better ? Even a commercial module, I am ready to invest money if it's worth.

Document module is also interesting, but I can not have the hits (how many people download the file). And this is something I would like to have.

Hello Declic

You might try SQLGridSelectedView V4.0 by Paul Scarlet:

I hope this helps

Not really... I have studied carefully the link given, but I do not understand the relation between my question and this module which handles SQL query... And not doing any links module ? Or am I stupid ??
I am a newby with DNN, so explain me if I have not understood.

Hello DV

I have misunderstood, I thought that your data was contained in a database table, which could then easily be displayed on your site with links, information and images.

I checked your URL (BTW your page took a long time to load).

I think that you might be able to use the text/html module. You can put text, links and images without any problem.

I understand the the documents module will allow downloads but I have never used this module so I can't say what other features it will give.

Or maybe you can combine the two, list your items using the text/html with a thumbnail and a link to a download document module page perhaps with a bigger image.

I would also check out the WildPortFolio module, it has many features that you require. I know that Lee has a tutorial on the Wildportflio module on this site, have a look at it, perhaps it has your requirements.

Oh and I think he also has a tutorial on the documents module.

I hope that information is of some use to you.
