Xmod 3.2 or UcasUse Attr or Entreprise Forms 2.1

Im still getting confused. Which is the best for custom modules out of these three ?

Do you know any resources for developing custom modules (videos or manuals) ? I have just started working on vb.net. Is it difficult to develop custom modules ??

Also when is it next issue coming out, as u mentioned its mainly on skins?

Hello,

I haven't used these modules so I can not offer any recommendations, I would suggest you ask for feedback on the modules within the asp.net forums:

http://forums.asp.net/90/ShowForum.aspx

I have listed various resources that are available to help you with developing custom modules here: DNN Module Developer Resources

It is not difficult developing custom modules once you have a grasp of how asp.net works. - As with setting up DNN, the hardest part is getting started, after that it becomes much easier. - The videos by seabury design are good videos - and free.

Other resources if you are starting out - I really like the wrox series of books - Beginning ASP.NET 1.1 with VB.Net 2003 and Professional ASP.NET 1.1 are good books.

I've also just purchased the same books for ASP.NET 2.0 but haven't had chance to read them yet.

A good website for asp.net programming is http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/

The next issue is due to be released in the next couple of days, it's going to be a double issue release as there is so much content - there's 16 videos related to skins and skinning, that's why it is taking slightly longer than anticipated to edit and prepare for release.

Hope this helps, thanks
