Hi All,

Have successfully configured and setup the house menu skin object 1.3.01.

However Admin and Host links appear but are not hyperlinks, just text.

Any ideas? or workarounds?

Cheers

Hello,

Yes this happens if you are displaying a horizontal static menu. The workaround is to display a second house menu as a simple list which only administrators can view and its set to display all menu items.

You can see examples of how I have implemented this in the free skins here:
Hope this helps,

Hi Lee,

Yeah, that works well. Thanks. Did think of doing that, but wondered if there was a better way!

Much appreciated. Merry Christmas!

Hello,

if you look at the code in the skins that I mentioned above you should be able to work out how to set up the house menu.

If you are displaying a horizontal menu it does not display the child pages of the menu, but you can display the child pages using a second vertical menu. - you can see this in action here: http://www.dnncreative.com/Articles/tabid/99/Default.aspx

If you want to display multiple horizontal sub menus then have a look at this tutorial:
How to create Horizontal CSS menus in DotNetNuke using the HouseMenu

You may also want to look at this tutorial were I demonstrate how to create a vertical house menu: How to create a pure CSS skin
