I have been running DNN4 successfully now for at least 6 months, but suddenly something has changed, which means I now get errors installing modules. The files are not being put on the server, even though the folder is all users "Full Control". My ISP is really messing me about, because I know they must have changed something, I have not changed any configurations files on the site. In additon, SQL has lots of room for expansion and further storage.

Can someone shed some light on this matter?

Here's the end of the install script;

StartJob Begin Sql execution
Info Executing 03.20.00.SqlDataProvider
StartJob Start Sql execution: 03.20.00.SqlDataProvider file
EndJob End Sql execution: 03.20.00.SqlDataProvider file

EndJob Finished Sql execution

I would contact your hosting provider and ask them to re-enable permissions on your DNN installation files + folders. Sometimes permissions can be lost and they need to be re-applied.

. I have access to all folder permissions, and it was working. I just don't enough about the installation of modules to understand where the problems may be. I have manually copied modules and then used the manual registration tools on DNN, and this works to a fashion. I did spend some yesterday viewing the Event Log video, which was very useful, as my ISP told me that SQL was full, even though it wasn't, so I upgraded to a larger database anyway. Is there a video that illustrates how to manually install and register modules with their manifest and controls?

It really sounds like a hosting provider problem. Your other option would be to revert back to a previous backup where the install of modules worked ok. – As a test I would get hold of a backup of your site + database, install it to a localhost installation + see if the problem still exists.

There isn't a video on installing manually with manifest as the only option you should need is to upload the install file.

Which reminds me of another option, locate the install folder in your DNN install files, upload the module.zip to their and then use the install URL for your site to initiate the install. Check out these:
