You have to be logged in as Host to install modules. It's a menu entry on the Module Definitions page.

You login using the site's login control, not a control panel.  If you login with a username and password that has "Host" privileges, you are a host.

If you do not know a host username and password, ask the person who runs the site.

Do you have access to the SQL Server database, such as through MSSQL Server Managment Studio or Express?

In that case ...
  • BACKUP!
  • Register a news user and verify that you can login with the username and password.
  • open the database
  • Locate the new user in the aspnet_Membership table
  • Copy the Password, PasswordFormat, and PasswordSalt for the new user
  • Paste these values into the corresponding columns for the Host user
Now, you should be able to login as Host, using the password you created for the new user.
