I know that all content of a site is stored in the database. A user has accidentally deleted the content of a page. Tab ID= 496. Based on this information, is there somewhere in the database to restore this information if the database has been backedup? What table is this information in?

Need this fixed ASAP!

If the user deleted modules from the page, you'll probably be able to locate them in the Recycle Bin (under the Admin tab) and restore them to the page.

If the user went into a module, deleted content, and then "updated," Your best chance will be to either restore from a database backup, or load a backup of the database to somewhere else, go into the database with SQL Server Management Studio tools, and manually extract the content and restore it to your site.

If you aren't making periodic backups of your database and web site, this is a good time to begin!

Yes, I want to manually extract the content from the database, but I am unable to find where this is located. What tables do I look in?

Tabs table holds the data for the pages - you will see there is a column 'IsDeleted' when this is set to true this is how the page ends up in the recycle bin but isn't actually deleted from the database.

For further info on working with the tables in DNN, you may want to check out these 2 issues:
