Hi,

I've got a DNN 3.2 with a number of different portals. Any user for any of the portals needs to register and each user needs to have their account authorised before they can log in. Upon authorisation an email is sent to the user. This all works fine however on one portal I want to change it so that each user needs to be authorised but an email is not sent to the user informing them of this. Is this possible and if so where do I find the options?

Thanks

I don't think that this is possible. If there is a version of DataSprings' Dynamic Registration module that will run on 3.2, it does have this option.

Hi,

After a day of going through code etc. I've come to the same conclusion. So I've decided to modify the ManageUsers.ascx in the admin folder. I've done the modification but the changes dont seem to be taking effect and I cant seem to debug the code within visual studio. Is the a DLL I need to copy into my bin folder once changed or is there an alternate way of altering any code in the admin folder?

Thanks in advance

Yes. There's probably a dll file that contains the compiled code behind for this. My guess is that this is going to be a larger task than you're anticipating.
