I'm trying to create my first DNN container - the good news is that it works, but I wanted to make sure there wasn't an easier way to accomplish what I'm trying to do.

I attached my container.css (as a text file).  At this point I have 2 questions:

1.) in order to use the body and headline classes in my text/html module, I had to go to the source code and call the classes:

Headline

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet

Is there a way that in the text/html module, the classes can be picked up as a style or format choice?

2.) in my container.htm, I'm wondering where the
should be styled, as well as where the tokens should be styled.  I took a stab at the tokens by adding an to my container.xml file, but with no luck.

    [TITLE]

        CSSClass
        headline

I'm sure I'm just missing something obvious, so any poke in the right direction would be appreciated!

The Text/HTML module uses the standard site styles.

If you want to apply special styles to a particular Text/HTML module, the right thing to do would be to wrap the module in div tags (using the header and footer module settings) and then add styles in your skin.css for that module.  And alternative is to look at the page source to see which class DotNetNuke adds to the module, and then set styles for that class.

Take a look at Troubleshooting DotNetNuke Skins for some additional details.

Thanks - that's exactly what I needed (the the step by step of the web developer tool bar was perfect - I discovered I wasn't using half the functionality)
