I'm running DNN 4.5.03 on GoDaddy, I say that just incase someone tells me to upgrade.

I need to be able to redirect everyone who logs out back to the main default web site not back to the login page.  Currently my DNN is installed in /members, so I need to redirect everyone back to www.mysite.com

Thanks

Chris

On the User Settings Page, available from the Users page ( Admin >> Users >> UserSettings), there are options to redirect after registration, login, and logout.

Hmmm ... I just saw some comments on the DotNetNuke forum that these settings might not be working correctly.

I looked more into it and the problem is that it only allows me to select a page not just type in a page, like http://mysite.com/default.

I'm not sure I understand the distinction.

Did you manage to resolve this?

I have a similar problem whereby when a user logs out of my Portal, I need to redirect them to an external web site.

I have created a thread on the DNN forum, but haven't had any help yet!

You could try redirecting to a page that really is a link to an external site.

Create the page, and in the page settings make it a link to the external site. Then go to User Settings and set the redirect after login page to that page.

I have tried that.

I created my own logout page and using the advanced properties int he page settings I set a the link URL to the external page I wanted to redirect my users to.

However upon logout, it correctly sends me to my logout page, but it doesn't activate the link URL to the external page. Rather it just stays on my logout page.

Any ideas?
