Hi Lee,

I wonder if you might consider reviewing forum modules (in Review/Modules/Forum?)?

In DNN there are: Core Forum module, Active Forums module, Prestopia Forum module, YAF module, ... and I think it would be interesting to analyze them.

Thinking many people need this on their pages but are puzzled with complexity of them so this could be useful article. Just drop in the simple table (options, pro's and con's), no need to have detailed tutorials about each one of them.

Hope this is something you already add to yours „to do“ list and now I'm just reminding you (ringing a bell) of it

Thanks

John T.

Hi John,

Thanks for the suggestion, I will add it to the list.  A tutorial on the core forum module is already on the list, so perhaps I will be able to incorporate some form of review in that issue.

Thanks,

Hello,

It is on the list, but other tutorials have moved in front, if there is a big demand for it I will move it forward a couple of months.

Thanks,

Hi Lee,

A tutorial on forums would be great. It is essentially going to be the core of my site.
Btw, the site is awesome.

Hello,

I have looked at the forum module several times, each time it is scheduled in to create a tutorial on it I have come across a major bug. - And the core team have said a release to fix the bug is on its way. So, I have kept moving the tutorial back until the bugs have been fixed.

I have not looked at the forum since the latest release, so perhaps it is time to re-visit it, thanks,

Lee
