Hi Meenu

Can you please check the portal alias to see any entry with localhost and if so then remove that and add a new one with your URL

Regards

Bobby

You need to remove these from your portalalias list:

                localhost
                www.afticom.com

Of the remaining two, you only need www.afticom.com:8000 as the other on is equivalent.

You didn't delete www.afticom.com from portalalias.

You should also removed the one with home.aspx attached.

You ONLY portalalias should be www.afticom.com:8000

DotNetNuke doesn't have a home.aspx page. But, it seems that it will redirect from home.aspx to default.aspx. So, yes, the "two" pages are really just one page.

I have no idea what you are doing with the portalaliases. Is your website set up to use port 9000?

If you remove BOTH aliases, you site shouldn't work at all. So you should put them back.

Sorry, I mis-typed. I meant port 8000. Are you using that port?

Great! That's what should be correct, so I'm glad that it really works.

I should have also added that you should clear the cache and restart the application when you do things like this. Sometimes it also helps to restart IIS.
