That is helpful.  However, I am also looking for the tokens that can be used in skins like the LINKS, BANNER, etc.  Are there anymore references that you know of ?

I think that plan is for most of the DotNetNuke modules to support those replacements. But, most haven't been updated. Besides Text/HTML and UDT, possibly the Announcements and Blog modules do, but I'd check. In fact, I'd suggest that you check the DotNetNuke project pages to see the status of the various modules.

I think that I am making it more complicated then it really is.  I am just looking for the tokens you can use in a skin.  In referencing the DNN Blue default skin I see items like LINKS, BANNER, MENU, COPYRIGHT, etc.  Is there a complete list of available tokens with a decription of how they are used?

Sorry, I was referring to tokens that can be placed in modules.

For skins, I'd suggest that you take a look at the Skinning Toolkit.

Also, if you download the DotNetNuke documentation there is a skinning PDF file. In there is a list of all the tokens you can use for skins.

Hello,

I have a commercial module that inherits all tokens available in DNN and also offers the possibility to create new tokens from Database, local files, files on FTP Servers, HTTP Requests, POP3 and IMAP Servers, etc.

It also comes with a Skin Object that is useful for what you need. You can include it in any skin (or any .ascx or .aspx as a matter of fact) and it will get replaced with tokens. You can find instructions on this at http://docs.avatar-soft.ro/doku.php...skinobject

You can download a trial version from our website http://www.avatar-soft.ro/Products/...fault.aspx

Regards,
Bogdan
