The default installation of DotNetNuke will display copyright information in the source code for DotNetNuke. It is not a requirement to display this copyright notice so if you wish to remove it use the following steps:

  • login as host
  • go to the host menu / host settings
  • scroll down to 'appearance'
  • un-tick show Copyright credits

Lee's instructions will remove the copyright that refers to DotNetNuke. There is also a site copyright. If you want to remove that, you will need to edit your skin to remove it.

And, you may have a skin file that has copyright information inserted directly. If that is your case, you will need to edit the skin file.

I recommend PowerDNN for DotNetNuke Hosting.

Just for your info, the text of the copyright can be changed from the admin menu / site settings.

However you can not remove the copyright text completely, to do that you need to remove the [COPYRIGHT] token from the skin.
