I just purchased a 25 domain plan with Re-Sellers choice and I am very impressed  with how fast and easy the interface is to use. The Portal itself is fast and it is extremely easy to set up Dot Net Nukes sites. Literally one click and the database and site are set up for you, all you need to do is name the database and give login credentials for admin and host. I couldn't believe how quick it set up DNN for me. It only took less than a minute and I was logging into my site and uploading my skins.
I recently purchased a 25 site plane from iHost, and found Resellers Choice shortly after. Both are good, but I was still looking for an interface that was easier to use than HELM (which iHost uses). The dotPanel interface in Resellers choice in modern, sleek , fast and easy to use. It looks like they have taken their time and spent some money to create a polished portal for resellers like me to use.
It very easy to set up a new database, or back up an existing one, to add new domains, set up email account for clients, set up individual FTP accounts etc.
I'm really happy I found them, I unfortunately will be moving my sites over from iHost, who is still good, but for the extra $5 a month, the interface at reseller is worth it. I currently administer 30 websites and have a new one added once to twice a month. For a designer like me who sells hosting to his clients only, this is the best package I have seen yet, and I have tried a number.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any specific questions. I personally find forums like these great places to find out information, and I would be happy to help anyone else who is looking for a host.

Hi Buck,

Give your store a try on our servers, You should see a good speed increase and if not for any reason we provide a full 30 day refund.  You can use our temp url system for testing without having to move the DNS.

Let me apologize up front for being a bit overly verbose on this post!

When it comes to forums, I am more often a reader than a contributor but I currently have a hosting provider that I feel compelled to share with others searching for a good home for their DNN site(s).

I have been using DNN for just over 3 years now. I remember reading through this particular thread several years ago when I was trying to decide on the best host to go with as I was experimenting with DNN. In that time I have tried countless hosts; some good, some average and some nightmares.

After a couple of years of bouncing around I finally settled out on Reseller’s Choice and I have been with them for just over a year now. I can say without pause that they offer the best “bang for the buck” of any of the hosts I have dealt with to date.

They meet the following 4 key needs that keep me satisfied:
  1. RELIABLE. Their servers are reliable with very little down time (my monitoring service shows all of my sites with over 99.7% up time last year).
  2. IMPECCABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Their customer service reps are prompt, courteous and go above and beyond the “hosting company” responsibilities (spoken: helped me fix a DNN issue not related to hosting on more than one occasion).
  3. USER FRIENDLY. Their control panel of choice, DotNetPanel, is consistent, stable and very user friendly (great for you and very important if you are reselling to a client who may use it!).
  4. ECONOMICAL. Using their 25 Domain pack, I am able to keep my per site cost down to less than $2 per site per month while still getting performance on par with (or better than) many hosts I have paid $20 per site per month.
Although I can’t speak from an enterprise level perspective, I highly recommend this hosting provider for anyone needing a trustworthy and cost effective solution for a small/medium business or personal DNN site.

Thought I'd ask this here seeing it applies specifically to Reseller Choice:
I wish to set up two sites with different domain names but under 1 DNN installation. These are small groups <200 and I wish for them to be able to share the module resources I have without each group having to pay for their own copy, per the rules of course.

In addition, I wish for each portal to run off of their own domain based email address. (admin@portal1.com, admin@portal2.com).

So when I create the domains or domain aliases, does Reseller Choice give me the ability to host seperate mail for each domain even though they will be sharing a DNN installation?

Clear?

Thanks!

Yes, You can have 2 or more domains pointed to your DNN install but each have its own email accounts. Our control panel makes this type of setup simple, Any issues feel free to contact us or open up a ticket and we can help get you started.

***Disregard this post. I just tried the promotion code and it has expired already.***

RC - Rob,

Is the $1 for the first month still being offered? Resellerchoice seems to be exactly what I'm looking for and I would like to give it a test run.
