Hi,

I am working on a collaborative academic research project with team members located remotely.  I really wanted to use Wiki technology as it seems most effective for keeping track of team members versions, doing revisions, rollbacks, etc. .  I am relatively new to dotnetnuke.  I have installed the Wiki module 04.00.01.  I can barely find any intuitive documentation on it. I looked at the dotnetnuke.com for documentation on it.  The dotnetnuke provides a bare bones explanation on how to use the module.  I would be most appreciative to find out more about this particular module and see it in a website. Thanks ahead.

Documentation of modules isn't always the strongest feature of DotNetNuke.

But, I looked that the Project Page at the DotNetNuke site and found some minimal instructions: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Projects/...fault.aspx

I haven't worked with the DotNetNuke wiki module, but I'm pretty sure that the instructions on that page use it.

Perhaps the best way to "see it in action" is to put it on your own site and start to play with it ....

I can't find any docs either, you could have a look at the wiki section of the dotnetnuke forums:

I do subscribe to DNN Creative. And it is absolutely "top drawer." Could you please do a piece on the Wiki module. I have spent hours playing around with it, and have yet to find how I can set it so that the User can actually get inside to edit something.

Have you checked out the DNN SuperUser Manual available on the DotNetNuke.com web site? That said the old version was very buggy and I gave up on it.

There is a new 4.5.0 release, which fixes all the bugs, not officially available yet but see Chris Hammond's blog post http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources...truly.aspx for a download link.

It does have one bug in that there is no Edit Wiki Topic link on the Home page on installation. You need to add a new wiki topic and link to wikihomepage to edit the Home page, then an Edit Wiki Topic appears. I reported that to Chris Hammond, it might have been sorted.
