I am using DNN version 05.04.04. When I go to Admin--> Google Analytics to add my tracking code, the page comes up blank.

There is no place to add the tracking code, as I've seen in earlier versions.

Would anyone have any idea why this page would be blank? And if so, what to do to make the tracking id box appear.

Thanks.

Make sure that you are not in Layout mode.

If you are in View Mode or Edit Mode, you might want to check that the module is actually on the page.  You should be able to see the module's name and dropdown action menu in Edit mode.  If the module is not there, you will need to make sure that it is installed and then install a copy of the module on that page.

Thanks Joe, that worked.

However, in previous versions of DNN, you didn't need to add the Google Analytics module to any page. All you had to do was to go to Admin-->Google Analytics and you could enter the tracking code there, once and it would put it on every page for you. It was so convenient. You didn't need to add the module to the page or set it to be on every page.

I still wonder what happened to that feature.

Nothing happened to that feature.

You should install the Google Analytics module on an administrative page.  Enter the code there, and it should be applied to every page on the site.

Normally, the Google Analytics module is installed on the Admin, Google Analytics page in each portal.  Something seems to have happened to yours and you need to restore it.
