How do I put a custom button whihc has been saved as a .png file as what the readers "sees" as teh link name of a hyperlink in the Links module? Can that be done wihtout knowing HTML? Or, if that won't work, how can I delete the box that appears around the button image if I use the text Module and simply drop the button in as an image and then use the hyperlink in the text editor to make the button appear to function as a link. The box surrounidng the button is really tacky looking. Thanks.

The Links module doesn't support icons, as best as I can tell. But, you can do this with the Announcements module. You will need to know a bit of HTML, though, to create a template for your image links, and to style them.
