    Hi

I'm wondering if anyone has come across a solution to this problem I'm having. One of my clients wants to add a HTML module to say "Please log in to see content". And on the same page, the content appears if the user is logged in (by using security roles).

The problem is that the HTML module is still being shown ("Please log in to see content.") Is there a way to EXCLUDE a HTML module based on permissions? ie don't show the HTML module if the security role is XXX? Since "All Users" security role is used, there is no way of turning the module off after someone logs in.

    Any assistance is appreciated.

Set the view permissions for that module so that it is visible only to Unregistered Users. After someone is logged in, they are Registered Users, and will not see that module.

I am going way to fast this morning.  There is also a DENY permission if you are using DotNetNuke 5.x.  We have a tutorial on that option here.
