Hi,
I am the administrator of my site. I somehow, cannot access my Homepage
for editing/updating. I am able to access other pages though. I was
trying to add another user to the page. After I clicked update, I cannot
see the control panel when Home page is selected. I tried to create
another page to set as home through the site setting, that doesn't work.
Please help.

I assume that you can login and view/edit other pages?

I believe that the permissioni are controlled in the TabPermissions table, but it is linked to several other tables. You'll have to find your home page's tabid and then find how the roles are given permission.

I haven't worked this out, and it's likely to be messy. If you don't know SQL, I don't recommend that you try.

You might want to try to create a new page for which you do have admin permissions, and configure it as your new home page. That may be a bit of work but it's likely to be easier than trying to repair the tables.

Your other option is to go to the admin menu / tabs
select the home page and click on the edit pencil icon
Here you can edit the settings for your current home page and see if any settings need to be changed for it to display correctly
