Hi,

I am sitting with a situation where the rich text editor adds the encoded   for a space    .This is causing me problems because my list item now does not wrap any more.

Could someone please tell me if there is a way around this or if there is a way to prevent the rich text editor from encoding the spaces (or any other character for that matter?)

Thanks so much!

A workaround would be to get your text the way you want it, then switch to Source mode and manually convert the encoded spaces to actual spaces, then save. However, every time you edit that text you'll need to remember to do this, so I don't think it's a viable solution unless this is text that you edit infrequently.

Your other alternative would be to put the editor into "Basic Tex Box" mode - this is a radio button above the editor.

Underneath the Basic Text Box editor you will also see Text / html and raw modes which may be useful
