I am looking for a module where each week Registered Users can sign up to play in that week's golf tournament. I need to capture the names of the people signing up, with a new list created each week.

Dynamic Forms or Form Master would be good choices.

I recommend PowerDNN for DotNetNuke Hosting.

Events Module has event signup built in. Registered users can see a list view of events and then pick the ones they wish to attend, as long as the moderator has enabled enrolment. I also have purchased a module named Appointment Wizzard which uses categories as event names and works with the Event Calendar for a more commercial registration option with time slots.

I went to the events module - which I use on the site and enableed enrollment. But it did not seem to make any change. I logged in as a test user with registered user permissions. When I clicked on an event, it did not show anything different and did not record a "registration" This sounds like just what I want for registering my members to play in each week's golf event, but I must have missed something on the enrollment portion of the module. ??

Enable enrollment in the module settings. Check the required user fields for display. Enable moderation for enrollment purposes in the module settings. When you create a new event the option to allow enrollment should be on the bottom of the form. After you create a new event with enrollment option checked your users can now enroll. To view the status of enrollments you can view the event details. It's helpful to enable notifications also. Hope this helps you.
