Hi everybody and Happy New Year,

I searched the forum but I did not find the answer.
I use one of my DNN websites as a client web portal. Basically, I upload large files, create an user name and password, and then my "clients" log-in and download their files. I've been using this for about a year and it works great.
Now, I need to make it work the same way but for my "clients" - they log-in, upload their files and I download them. I need to do this but, I don't want them to have full access. I don't want them to be able to change anything to the portal-just to upload their files.
Any ideas?

Thank you
Stoyan Dimitrov

If you look around, particularly on Snowcovered, you will find modules that allow you to create upload facilities. The Repository module also permits this. I think also that Michael Washington has a free module that permits large file uploads (see Silverlight Bridge at adefwebserver.com).

Thank you Joseph,
I am looking at the options now but as much as I know the repository module is limited to size. Correct me if I am wrong but isn't something like 8mb? And I need it for size 25mb and up, something that will not go thru our emails

You can change the maximum file upload size by editing web.config. The Silverlight module that I mentioned doesn't have that restriction (That is what I recall, but you should check it out).

fixed it but definitely the problem came from silverlight bridge...I can't get you a print screen but it was giving me some error messages and it was saying that it can't load silverlight. I didn't have any problems verifying and installing it As soon as I installed it, the websites went down...I'm going to try couple other things and we'll see.

Thanks
Stoyan
