Hi All, (Merry Xmas) I had DNN 5.2.1 installed on a host service (dotnetpark) as I was having problems with 5.0.0. It is a new website and so I'm lucky as no content has been added. Last night I uploaded a couple of free skins. This morning when I go to access my site I go to the UnderConstruction page message. I have no idea of how I can get around this message, I can't even login to access Host account. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks. Andrew

It the site was working after you installed the skins but is not working now, I might suspect the connection to the database. Have your host check that, or check it yourself if they provide database tools.

If you have access to the web directory, you could delete the directories that hold the new skins. That will tell you if the skins are causing the problem.

Hi Joe, Yes the site was working fine after I installed the skins. I even set the site back to the default skin before logging out. How do I check the database? I also have FTP access to my site. Andrew

Do you have access to SQL Server Management Studio, or some other tool that you can use to connect to the database? I'd try those, using the username and password that appears in your web.config file.

And ... I'd ask for tech support from your host.

I have used my host's online SQL tool to access the database using the username and password from my web.config file.

I am able to connect to it OK. I don't have SQL SMS so I can't test that.

I have contacted tech support and I am waiting for their reply.
