Hello, after months of searching I started using AliCommerce shopping cart with good success. No unfortunately I found I was duped into buying pirated software. :GRR: http://www.bvsoftware.com/alicommer...fault.aspx Any way, so now the seach continues as the "maker" of AliCommerece hasn't made a DNN version yet. I have been looking at Smith Cart made by smith consulting. Does anybody have any experience using this cart? http://www.smith-consulting.com/pro...odule.aspx Thank you, Jacob Bushnell

I am trying to find out as well. I have looked at several dnn store modules, including the dnn core store module. I am not sure whether to use the core module, or pay for a module that may be better. If you hear anything, can you pass the info on to me? It would be greatly appreciated.

There's a good thread I was reading a couple months ago on another forum/blog. The thread has a lot of info on store modules for DNN. I'll try to find it again.

Are you referring to comments on Tom Kraak's blog at seablick.com?  It's a blog entry about ecommerce.

I recommend PowerDNN for DotNetNuke Hosting.

Aloha all,
does anyhone know of an eCommerce module that will handle reservations as well, thus products that are driven by date/time. We are developing a vacation portal and we are curretnly looking for a solution to handle activities and possibly vacation rentals (Similar to vrbo.com).

Thoughts anyone?

Take a look at catalook!  They offer a reservation piece in their professional package.

Not sure if you are still looking but I have used Catalook and recently purchased Smith Cart.  I wish I would have used Catalook again as they seem to have more features for managing your content.  In Smith Cart you have to click to many times in order to accomplish a very simple task.  Managing your store from a category and product perspective is a little bit hooky.  Overall I am pleased with Smith Cart (not the price), but for what I am trying to do with an inventory of less than 100 items its ok.
