Hello Everyone,

As said in the subject I am trying to get users who aren't in the administrator role to add content to a page. I have been searching for a while now and all I can find is explanations for users for how to edit content but not how to add content.

Could somebody point me in the right directions? Thanks in advance

Do you want others to be able to add modules to a page? If so, you have to give them page edit permissions.

Yes that is what I would like to do. I gave this user role page edit permissions (Page > settings > Permission > Edit Page is checked for this Role).
When I logon with a user in this Role, I am able to edit the page. But when I want to "Add New module" the Module dropdownlistbox doesn't contain any modules.

Am I missing a permission setting which enables this dropdownlistbox to be filled with modules?
I added a screenshot with the empty dropdownlistbox

PS. thx for replying.

Sebastian Leupold answered a similar question over on the DotNetNuke forums. You need to go to Admin :: Extensions, edit the module, and grant "Publish" permissions for the module. Once you get there it's easy as the section is labelled "Deploy Module" or very similar wording.

Yes, that was the missing factor. Thanks for the help!

I will keep that in mind, when I have another question to look there as well.
