So i'm using 5.1 and i have leftpane, contentpane, and rightpane.  leftpane has third level snapsis menu in it. I also added DNNEmptypane class in my skin.  When i test this in firefox, i have no problem, but in IE, the contentpane does not stretch out to fill the page.  do I have to use any hacks for IE? or is this CSS issue? I'm using same css for DNN 4 and it works.. so i'm guessing its DNN 5.1 issue?

Which version of IE is this? If it is IE8, try clicking the compatibility button to see if that makes the issue go away. If so, you can add a meta tag to your site to force IE8 to render it in compatibility mode, until DNN gets adjusted to work with IE8.

One more thing that you can do is look at the same pages with the Minimal Extropy skin applied.  If that skin works, compare your css with that css to see if you can identify differences.

If you want to use the Minimal Extropy skin, it should have autoinstalled, and you can choose between the two files when you pick a skin.  I think that index is not full screen, whereas indexfull is.

thanks, now when I used the minimal extropy skin, I couldnt really test it since layout is completely different. Just can't figure it out. why it works fine with DNN 4 and not 5.1. also fact that it works in firefox but not IE. I'm lost

I understand. Attach your skin file and css file to your reply and maybe we can look it over.

That would be awesome! you must add third level menus to test it. Thank you so much.
