    Hello guys

    Can anyone help me answering why we cant set borders to menu items at the root level of the solpartmenu? I've looked every where on the internet for a solution.

    The skin.css stylesheet seems to ignore my settings for the .MainMenu_RootMenuItem{border-top: 1px #FFFFFF; border-bottom: 1px #FFFFFF;}

    Anyone got a solution? I can see in this link http://www.skinningtoolkit.com/DOTN...fault.aspx they write the borders do not display in the menu, but how do i make them visible?

    NOTE: I am not currently using the .MainMenu_RootMenuItem since it didnt work.

    Thanks in advance

    hello,

    Where do you want to display a border on the root level? is it around the entire menu, or around each individual menu item?

    Which version of DotNetNuke are you using?

    If it is 4.9+ are you sure you are using the SolpartMenu and not the NavMenu?

    The nav menu comes as the default menu with DotNetNuke 4.9 and above and can be easier for styling the borders, we have recently covered the nav menu here:

    Hello I am using dnn 4.8.3 with the solpartmenu. I need to set a border on each individual root menu item. My temporary solution is a background image in the .MainMenu_MenuItem that works. But any workaround other than using background image or udating to 4.9+ ? Best Regards Gooldmember

    you may find that the background image is the best solution, as you have discovered in some of the notes on skinningtoolkit.com some of the borders disappear when mousing over.

    However if you want to provide an image of where you wish the borders to display then we may be able to help, it will also be useful for us to view a URL of your website so that we can view the code, thanks,
