I viewed the tutorial on FCK editor skins and tried to download two skins from SourceForge.net as instructed.  However, I could not extract the files because Vista says they are "invalid" and Windows XP says they are "corrupted."  The link to SourceForge is on the page that summarizes the training.  Has anyone else had this problem?  I was trying to install the Office 2007 and Aluminum skins for the FCK editor.

I tried again, and I still get the same message that the folder is invalid:

That's odd, can anyone else confirm this?

    Go to this page:

    http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?gro...tid=740153

    Click on Office2007Real

    Click on attached file

    Click on Download

I tested it again and it still works ok for me, perhaps try on a different computer? Thanks

The downloads worked for me as well, so I'm guessing that your problem is computer specific.

I think problems might occur if you are trying to save the file to a temporary folder and unzip it from there. Try to make sure that you are saving the ".zip" file to your hard drive before you open the file and (I'm sure you've done this already) make sure the extension on the file that you download is called ".zip".

One last suggestion is to download and use Mozilla Firefox to download the ".zip" file. I think the error might be Explorer specific.

    Good luck.

I did try downloading the file to another computer last week, because I thought maybe it was a Vista problem, but I got the same results.  However, using Mozilla I was finally able to download the folder and extract it successfully just now.  Thanks for the suggestion!
