Hello, For some reason, syndication is not working properly for my announcements module. It updates slowly and displays old content. I have read in postings that the announcements module uses the core RSS feature, and that the core search indexer must be enabled, but can't figure it out. Has someone had a similar problem and know the solution? Please help as this is quite urgent. Kind regards, Knut Erik

Yes, I recall that is true. You enable the indexer on the Host, Schedule page. My recollection is that, by default, it is not enabled.

I recommend PowerDNN for DotNetNuke Hosting.

Joe, thanks for your reply. The only search related item I can find on the Host->Schedule menu is DotNetNuke.Services.Search.SearchEngineScheduler, DOTNETNUKE which is already enabled, frequency every 30 minutes. The announcements module syndication is still not working, showing old content when I click on Syndicate. Do I have to add a new item to schedule, and if so do you know the class name of this item? Thanks, Knut Erik
