I need to delete Event log details in database. Whether i can go and delete it straightly in the db. If it so it wont affect any other references? coz i need to reduce my database size. Any other ideas plzzz

Use the SQL page under host, enter "Truncate Table EventLog," and then click Execute.

you can set your scheduler to automatically delete old event logs. also in the event logs, you can set how many event logs should be kept, some of them are set to * unlimited, and you may want to change this to just 20 log entries.
