Not sure this is correct forum, If not please move

In Video 3 the database backup failed. I was trying to restore to
MSSQL.1 --The error message said couldn't find path to MSSQL.2
The reason it couldn't is that it didn't exist. I created a folder MSSQL.2 and then the
    backup worked!

    In Video 4
To set up File Properties For DNN downloaded site the video says to Add ASPNET as follows:
Secuity Sharing >Advanced> Find Uders %& Groups> Add ASPNET

However when I tried this, ASNET wasn't one of the items in the dropdown meny.
I picked an admin (me)  and the localhost site seems to work.
How do I get ASPNET onto list?

The directory access should set the user to be ASPNET if on Windows 2000/XP or NETWORK SERVICE if on Windows 2K3/Vista. Which are you using? Admin may work for you on the local machine, but won't work for anyone else.

Mitchel Sellers keeps a very good and updated collection of installation instructions at http://www.mitchelsellers.com/blogs.../294.aspx. You might want to compare his instructions with what you did.

Before installing a live site to localhost I would make sure that you can install a fresh copy of DNN to your local computer. This way you make sure that all of your software is setup correctly.

Check out these tutorials for various versions of windows:
The install procedure has not changed since v4.5, so this will work fine for XP:
