I didn't dig through the site, but the home pages has a nice visual impact.

When I first went to the site, it timed out. Then it came up when I reloaded the page. You might want to look at "keep alive" services to keep your site alive.

    That's good to know.

The site is being hosted by PowerDNN and according to a recent post on the DNN forum all accounts/domains on their shared hosting option should be getting there keep alive service.

I logged a call with them only this morning about this, so I can now use this thread as further evidence that it is not working on my site.

Aside from this issue, what did you make of the site once you got in?

Not bad..I thought it was nicely done. No problems with the page loads..you might want to look at changing the favicon to a custom one.

Thansk for the idea about the Favicon.

However I have just uploaded a new favicon.ico and I cannot get it to display - i just get the standard DNN icon.

I have tried clearing my browsers cache and I have also restarted my portal, but I still get the standard DNN icon.

When I open this page in Firefox and start firebug I notice the following line in the page header:

This seems to be pointing to the 0 portal???

I don't see this link in my page - is this something you have to code yourself?

Any advice on changing this favicon would be really gratefully received.

    Thanks,
    Rich.

Put your favicon in the Portals/N directory, where N is the number of your portal.

If you aren't seeing the favicon, it may be cached in your browser's cache.  Try clearing the browser's cache.
