    Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place, but I am currently with Power DNN, and whilst I am a big fan, I am struggling now that the exchange rate is so poor. Whereas before it was the most economical choice to go with a US hosting provider, now a UK provider may be preferable.

However, I am not sure if there are any UK hosting providers offering managed hosting. The fact that Lee uses Power DNN (if I am correct) suggests not.

So if anyone has any suggestions I would be most grateful.

    Thanks
    Liz

    Hi Liz,

Yes the exchange rate makes it interesting at the moment! - I have not come across a UK provider that can fully support DotNetNuke and that is willing to setup the correct permissions on the DotNetNuke installation files and folders.

With the UK providers, the only way they suggest for running with the correct permissions on the folders and files is to buy a dedicated server. - of course the UK providers also do not have experience with DotNetNuke, so it could become a nightmare if you are having problems with your installation.

If anyone else has come across someone that does support DotNetNuke hosting in the UK then let us know,

    Thanks,

    Hey Liz,
You should give me a call. We have an Economy server package that is coming out that is specifically designed to help companies who need a little extra push because the economy is slow.
